Here’s a story about a confused demon.
Basically Eloise was a pretty normal woman who spent her whole life being told that she was a sinner.
When she dies he gets sent to hell because god has the hump and sends everyone to hell anyway.
When she gets there Eloise volunteers to be a demon because you know, she must be evil, everyone in authority always said that she was.
Her first job is to go back to earth and torment some ner’do’well. She decides that she will appear in their mirror for a split second looking all gross and demonic and take it from there.
When she does she notices that they have a pup that looks very similar to one she had in her 20s (which was a very happy period in her life).
Anyway one thing leads to another and she eventually ends up dog sitting so that the owner who she was supposed to be tormenting can take their partner on a mini break.
After that she starts helping out all the sinners she’s supposed to be demoning by doing small chores etc.
Soon her boss finds out and he’s like dude, you can’t do this. But secretly he liked it so he turns a blind eye.
One day Satan is doing some random spot checks (to make sure everyone is demoning correctly) and he finds Eloise scrubbing the shower of a mortal woman who she was supposed to be teorrising for some silly reason.
Obviously he’s a bit wtf about the whole thing and suspends her on the spot saying he will deal with her later.
Later that day Eloise is called to Satan’s office for a meeting with HR.
When she gets there Eloise says that she wants to torment people but she prefers helping them instead and explains that it seems to her that most of these people haven’t really done anything wrong anyway.
Fortunately Satan has had time to get over his shock and has decided that he likes this new direction and gets the HR rep to write up a memo to all demons saying from now on they have to be helpful and not all demony.
At first it doesn’t go down too well but after a while the demons really get into it and now you have demon dog walkers, demon baby sitters etc.
Anyway the moral is you aren’t a bad person just because others/religion/social media say you are.
The end.
